One of the Boston bombers killed ,,,, other one on the loose......

My daughter just said they were checking car in Mass right now.

I'm glad that they are on to these two. I watched the news early this morning and wasn't surprised that they got so many leads. The fact that they are foreign is going to feed the conspiracy theorists, I'm sure. Good on the law enforcement for their diligent work. Hopefully the 2nd guy will be apprehended soon. I'm curious to hear his motives but it really doesn't matter. Nothing could possibly validate what they did.

I do hope all remain safe. It seems like this is quicker than I expected to see results in the manhunt.

I've just been catching up with this, and I don't really know what to make of it. It's a very strange set of events. These brothers (assuming they did the bombing) don't seem to have been members of any organised terrorist group - "proper" terrorists would have planted the bombs and been well away, instead of engaging in what looks like a pretty desperate crime spree. There's no obvious motive so far, possibly it isn't even political. They could just be a pair of homicidal nutcases, like the Washington snipers or the Moors murderers. Hopefully the surviving brother will be captured soon and there'll be some answers forthcoming then.

I am sure you got your information from reading the news, the media is wrong to claim that they are from Chechnya, actually they are still baby when their parent are in Chechnya and became US citizens later on, they grown up in USA and went to school here, one of the brother is a MIT student presently. They are not Chechnya or even Russian, they are Americans per se. Even the present Chechnya president and Russian president make public statement their countries have no connection whatsoever with these two terrorists that strike in Boston Marathon, the free Chechnya rebel movement/organization that fought bloody war inside Russia for independence deny any involvement with both brothers and don't recognize them as one of their own members. There are more to the story told by the media, who supply them with these bombs and where they got their funding, and many other questions remain unanswered, it is a terrorism carry out by American, not foreigners.

i am just going to start of with this is sad and so wrong all together. how someone could do this is beyond me! i just read that article and that is an update to me. last i had heard they were looking for both men still. i would say good he was killed just like he killed many people and hurt many people that day but really he got the easy way out. i hope that they can find the other bomber and bring him to justice. the bomb threats and scared are on the rise now after that. there are many places being evacuated on bomb threats and on mysterious packages all because 2 guys thought it would be fun or whatever they thought. it is so sad.....

The have him in custody, he is in serious condition right now though, lets all just hope that he makes it so we can find out why they did it... it all made me physically ill, so i want anyone that was responsible to be held accountable and get what they deserve

I am watching the coverage live on the news right now. There has been another shootout, but no real details are being released right now. I hope they got him.

I regret with the accident, I think it is a terrorist action, because most of terrorist actions, the performer always die with the bombs, such as what happen in my country. I hope they are not Muslims, I feel hurt, why they choose this way to express their jealous.

These people are may be doing jobs for some international organization, (may be terrorist organization). Those organizations should be wiped out

I've been keeping up with the knews concerning the bombers. I just wish the other guy was not killed because he got away with murder. As for his brother I only hope they get him alive so we can have justice but also the answer as to why? This second kid became a US citizen on September 11th. What the heck happened between that day and now for him to turn on our US citizens.

This is so horrible! I do not understand why people like killing and hurting others who have done nothing to them. Why? I just do not get it. Are they seriously that evil? I guess they would have to be right? So terrible, I hope they catch the other one...

I'm happy they have a lead. It's nuts all this happened. No matter what we do as a cou try there will always be people being sick in the head like this. But hopefully we can find the people and end future grief they'd place on us.

I've been checking in on this story by tv and radio all day and its just so sad and a very scary situation for the residents. Its hard to imagine the entire city of Boston coming to an almost stand still. Hoping its all resolved soon with no more loss of life.
