attendants should know whats in their stores

i really get mad when i am shopping and after i look for an item and fail to find it you go to ask the attendant,who quickly tells you they dont have it or its out of stock only for you to keep strolling along the aisles and you see what you were looking for.i think store owners should make their staff know what they have and learn the products.have you gone through this while shopping?

I can understand that as I live in mexico now and know little Spanish and i have to spend hours at a time trying to find anything that i want and even if I have it written down no help from them thank you Walmart

Walmart here in my city has the worst help I've ever seen in a store. It's become so I don't even bother asking any more. They never know where anything is and most of the time don't even understand English! It does not make for a good shopping experience.
