i did not know whether to laugh or scream,i had just got this new help and after i had bought some items i asked her to put them away, there was a bottle of milk that i told her to put in the fridge so i guess she thought everything in a bottle goes to the fridge,so the next day i am looking for the dish washing liquid and i cant find it on asking her she opens the fridge and asks if it this one, then on sitting on the table to take tea i drink and almost spit it out,she has put food spice instead of the tea spices,i had to tell her to ask before she touches anything she does not know.do you have such weird dramas with new house helps?

Oh my... Personally with something like this, it would scare me to where I would not be wanting them around anymore. This would not be something good you would want to deal with. Let's hope that things work out better or you can find a replacement that can give you what your really looking for.

it needs alot of training to keep such a person because you are exposed to many dangers,my neighbour almost had her house burnt down because the house help did not know to switch off the gas cooker by turning the knob she was trying to blow out the flame and when that did not work she tried pouring water thank goodness her niece was home at the time.

Well, some house helps need to be train in various works, items and even act or etiquette. In short, we have to educate them. Especially that most of them did not have proper education.

i agree that their level of education is a big factor in the things they do,hence the need for us not to take for granted that other people reason the way we do or know the things we use.

this is no 2 year old ,its the exposure in her life.i got to realise she had never worked in the town centre and has only lived in the village and has not been exposed to most of the things we take for granted like dish washing paste and her knowledge on reading was limited.
