Hi everyone
I want to create a website for free. I checked out in search engines, but didn't impressed by many of those.
Some are good and easy, but provides a very few memory for data.
Some allows more data to kept, but not that easy to make.
I want to create for free so that i will have a little experience of making a website.
And after around 3 months ,I will upgrade that to paid with an unique domain name.
Any advice on this ...

Blogger is really good if you want to customize your site. It is recommended for people who knows how to do coding and it is easy to use. But speaking of easy to use, Weebly for me is the easiest. You can set-up a site in just less than an hour. But customizing is a bit limited unlike blogger. Wordpress is good too, but I would choose blogger over wordpress.

Hi there Deepak2J
I have tried creating a website for my photoshop work and also one for our beach resort. I used freewebs.com and I think they renamed the site now to webs.com You can try visiting their website for more information. God bless your endeavors!

I found both freewebs and blogger good and easy to set up. There are so many places to choose from it is not funny. It all depends on what you want to do though that might make you favour another place. I would say write down what you want to achieve first as once you get started your will be very busy with the details and less with the overall goal?

You are welcome. Sometimes we want to keep our ideas to ourself and I understand that, however other times it is good to share them because you get even more and a better understanding of where it is going.
You did say it was to put things but wasn't sure why except for learning which is a good thing. I am doing this presently as well.

Thank you for your response.

In my view your best shot would be learn basic web-designing languages , like html ,css and php. So that you could code your own site . This is the only way you can learn about web designing . Using built templates will indeed make your work lesser but you will not be able to learn true web designing . So, go for coding part .
You could easily learn web-designing from www.w3schools.com
and www.000webhosting is a good place to host your website .

I would say either start learning basic HTML and edit templates that are freely available. All free website have limitation so that user can upgrade it. If you plan to do so then i would say go for Karyd Media. They offer free web development.
