My Sons girlfriends came to me and told me that her dad pulled her hair and threw her up against the wall and covered her mouth. She said she didn't do the dishes.. She is 16 years old and her dad is an addict and a drinker. She begged me not to do anything.. because she is afraid of what he may do.. It is so hard to explain to these kids that the decision the parents make are not their responsibly it is the dads and his alone.. I just feel like I should do something.. He hasn't done this before. She isn't afraid of what he will do to her. she is afraid of what he will do to himself.. he like a little kid who doesn't get his way he reacts.. The one thing I find strange is they have been going out for over a year and we have not met him yet. He is so manipulative and it is so hard to explain this to her.. oh I just had to put this out there..
