So happy got a giant box of veggoes

I went to three stores, the first two were so rude. I went to teh last assuming they would say no like the rest.
The guy goes let me go get some, he walks out with a big box of mainly lettuce and cauliflower.
I asked if I can come back weekly, and he said that was fine. I know this week most of it will go bad, I will bring it to the shelter seeing as I just bought my veggies yesterday.

I told you... many used to do that in the usa. I knew youd get some. Will save some money.

I've never heard of this. What are you doing, just asking them for free vegetables and they give them to you?

Oh, ok. I have seen people getting produce for their animals I just never thought about getting things that were still good enough for people to eat. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

Hmmm... Maybe that's why there wasn't anything on what I call the "used and abused" rack at Fortino's yesterday morning. In fact, even the rack was gone!

I asked Walmart, and one local Foodland they said no. I went to another town and they said yes.
They may save me more, I will most likely eat the culiflower, my friend gets her veggies free as well.
