the price for computer repair would be like $20 . it is quite high. but it is what the usual price for computer repair. maybe i can ask for lower price so i would try to talk with the repair man the next time i have gone to that place but i would try to repair it myself once again. because 20 dollars is not a small amount there are a lot of things that i can do with that amount of money. so anyway, later on i would look for some CD and install the windowx XP myself. i just hope it work this time.

Computers need to be repaired every now and then. That is one disadvantage of computers. There may be repair men who charge less, but I am not sure about their quality of work. Once we had a repair man who charged less -around $14- but he had not repaired it properly. I have heard that there are computer repair men who charge around $ 25 or so, but I have also heard that their quality of work is high.
It would be wonderful if we could repair the computer ourselves. Then we could save a lot of money.

Yes you can do it by yourself it's not that hard.Just follow the steps you see on your screen.Why XP? If you have 1GB RAM go for windows 7.

Hi,
I am a computer technician but I don't charge that much, USD10 is all I get from costumers around here. I understand your problem is a faulty operating system, you should check your hardware first before installing the OS to minimize the wasted time on trying to fix your PC. It would not do much to skip the process of a PC repair, it can only result in a lot of confusion and lost time.

Quite unfair if the problem is small, if you ask me. 
Twenty dollars worth quite good in my country - like you can buy meal for a week for that money. I am not sure about that money value on your country though.

sorry maybe my understanding is low but why your topic is there is a computer repairman on a stall on the dry market and your contents are the computer repair cost??? at first when i saw this topic i thought a real computer repair store in the dry market but when i read through few more times then i think what you mean is the market right now?
