I went through a lot in the past few years and still am in some ways. But life has taught me very valuable lessons which even my parents could not prepare me for let alone teach. And I am grateful for all the wonderful people I have met in this struggle who have supported me even when I became like an old record player talking the same things over and over again. I have now understood the importance of relationships and people who would welcome you even after not keeping in touch for many years. I guess it comes only to those who have a matured mindset.
I wish I can turn back the time clock and do things differently, but if that is possible, everyone would not be how you know and like them, right? I guess I have started praying more to god to guide me so that I do not repeat the same mistakes.

Hi VP. I am good and how are things at your end? How are Darshini and the boys? As I said life has taught me a lot and am still learning. I have become more independent and a little dependent at the same time. Independent in my thinking, taking decisions, doing things for myself as well as others and not getting upset or scared of challenges. Dependent on myself as well as god to guide me in whatever I do and not on anyone else. Life is great when you dont depend on others for anything. Financial dependency is the only one which I have on my husband which will also not be the case in another year or two. I am just waiting for the time when my son would be three and he would start proper school. I will start looking for jobs then.

I discovered also that we learn and see who our real friends are when we have problems and pain. And it is that pain and the lessons it teaches us that makes us wiser.

Yes, you are absolutely correct. The pain does make us wiser. And shows us who our friends are and whom you can rely on. I knew my friends here would support and be there for me without judging.

Hullo Devi! it is a pleasure seeing you here. How are you? Where are you now? Are parents here or are they still abroad?
Is all well at your end? How are the children? I had been to Chennai in December but am sorry I had forgotten all about you; if not I would have sent you a mail and tried to meet you.

Hi uncle. How are you? I was with my husband in a rented house and we would soon be moving to his flat which he had bought before our marriage and had rented out. I did not have my laptop for quite some time and moreover was busy with my two kids. Now since the holidays have started, I do not have to rush in the mornings. I have some time left to log in here and keep in touch with all my friends now. Life is wonderful isn't it? Bringing us all together in one place? I would not have met so many people otherwise nor would I have made friends with people of all ages, gender, culture or country.
