May 10th is Mothers day here in Mexico I will be.....

Unlike some countries. Mothers day in Mexico is always on May 10th. Does not matter what day it falls on. I know in Usa its the 2nd Sunday in May. My mom has passed, about a year ago. Mothers day was always a special day with her. We would have a big family meal for her. Since she is gone now, my son brother and I. Will still have that big family meal here. But we will also visit moms grave that day. And put some pretty red roses on it. Im sure she will have a great mothers day !!!

hey., second sunday of may is May 12th, not may 10th I haven't planned anything yet. I am not sure what to do this year.

That is great that you continue to do the same thing on Mother's Day that you always did. My mom passed away in 2003. She is buried in Iowa and I don't get to visit her grave very often.

With us mother's day will be celebrated also the 2nd Sunday in Mai. Actually mother's day has different celebration days around the world. But I hope that you spend a nice day together with your family.

Here in the UK, Mother's Day falls in March, always on a Sunday, so the actual date varies from year to year. Mum had a treble whammy this year, Mothers Day fell on March 10th, her 70th birthday was March 11th, and her anniversary was March 21st! It doesn't rain it pours. We only get one mum in our lives so it's important that we cherish and appreciate them as much as we can.

That is so touching. Mothers need that, the love and importance that their children would give to them. My mom's b-day is may 11 and I sent her gift for her upcoming b-day. Hope she will be happy. Happy Mother's day :)

It is funny how many places share the same hoildays like mothers day but they are on differnet dates or times of year it is nice that you still take the time to give time to your mother even after her passing

my mom passed away five years ago. we didn't really have a celebration on mothers day. we usually greeted her and that was it. my son is like this with me too. he would just call me and wish me well.
