I saw this one the news yesterday
A man turns 11 6 years old in Japan.
I was thinking Im just 34 now.
Means Id have to live over 80 more years to reach that.
Dont think so.
Here is a great video of the story.

i think only a few people live that long and i hope i would be like them.
i wonder what is it in japan that makes them live longer.could it be on their diet or in their climate.

I agree, seems like most of the older ones are in Japan. Has to be something they eat there. Have a great day there.

It's very common, I know a few who are in their 90's who live by themselves and get around great.
In my family we say if we live past 50 then we will live until we are 80. My Dad's side of the family make it to 50-60 year old, and my Mom's live to early to late 80's.

Wow, that's too long to live! What are his secrets? I hope he can write a book before he bids the world goodbye. Although we are saying that we do not want to live that long, I am sure you would like to know his secret for staying that long.

That's what I was told Japanese have longer life probably due to the healthy food they eat (no junk food like us?) !
Well, being healthy and still living in such old age is not a problem. At least one still could take care oneself. However, it will be a problem if we can't take care of ourself in such an old age. We will surely burden our loved ones .
Anyway, I do not know when my life will end here on earth and to live life to the fullest is the best I could do

Living to be that old is a nice thought I guess, but I would think there would be a lot of downsides to it as well. The first thought that comes to mind is the quality of life I would have if I lived that long. Would I be able to get out and do things, or would I be confined to a bed because of health problems? Another thing I thought about was how many loved ones you would have to suffer through losing.

I have thought about it for a long time Iand I don`t think that I would like to live that long. I would not want to end up with many mental or body impairments and awareof them. And if I was not aware of them, I would be a burden for my daughters.

In this say and lifestyle, I don't want to live beyond my means and into advanced age if I can help it. Something tells me that the future will be something I never dreamed in my wildest dreams and it will cost more for just daily living.

It seems that in Japan people live a long time, at least they have a lot of people with more than 100 years old. I heard that Japanise also have a very good blood circulation due to the dietary they have. They eat very healthy food like as fish and algae. Perhaps this is one of the reasons because there are long time living people.

Well, our bodies are made to live 150 years in perfect health, some scientists say.
But that would take perfect nutrition, no stress, no toxins, just perfection. Im hopeless im just 23 and ive probably already wasted 75 out of those 150. :(

I think living to 70 would suit me, I certainly wouldn't want to live to 116. I also read with interest he farmed until he was 90! 90? He is more active at 90 than some of us in our twenties. Not sure I could enjoy his diet, but something is obviously keeping him going. Here in the UK if you reach 100, you get a telegram from the Queen!

I was thinking the same. My mom passed at 68. If I get to 70 id also be happy. But 116? not for me. have a great day there.
