The entire city of Boston was on lock down all day and into the night.
has this ever happened before?
No stores were open, no cars, people were locked in the homes.
All because of this 19 year old killer.
What has this world come to.

The great news is, it worked out. And no one else was hurt.
I think police officials and the fbi did a wonderful job.

Unfortunately, I have a feeling that this is going to start happening more frequently in our country.

The media is not to blame for the violence. The blame for the violence lies in the people doing these terrible things. We need to secure our borders, and we need to stop sending money and weapons to countries who harbor and train terrorists who attack us. We need to start being a lot more selective about who is allowed to come to our country. We need to stop worrying so much about offending someone, and start worrying more about stopping the violence. I could go on and on about the things we need to change, but until the American people ban together and take our government back, nothing is going to change. We have a communist muslim in the white house, and until that changes, things are only going to get worse...

That must have been totally eerie as well as frightening for the people of Boston, but in these situations, tough measures have to be taken to ensure the safety of every innocent citizen. I can't imagine to wonder what it was like, only to compare it possibly with the black outs London had during the war.

Sure was, but can you imagine how many people were in this? Boston is a big and bust city. And for it to close down for a day. Also cost people lots of money.

Okay, that is a good news, so the city will be normal soon, but is the reason for this whole event revealed yet?

Remember he is still just a suspect, although things don't look good for him either way.

Time will tell on that one, there have been too many things like this happening. If the government can put a fear into people then they get people to agree to things they wouldn't normally agree too.

Its a tough thing to make sure everyone is safe. I think the fbi and police did a great job.. to make sure these 2 didnt kill more people.

I am so relieved that they found him. I was in front of the tv through the whole thing since it was only about 15 miles away from me and it made me nervous. You never know when someone like that will travel out of the city...and come here...lol. I was paranoid through the whole thing. I'm happy the city is open now because my d/i/l hasn't worked all week since her place of employment is just about in the middle of the whole thing.

Yes thank God nobody else got hurt.....
I have a question though the two suspects were they the only ones involved....In all the pictures they were only carrying one back pack each...who placed the 3 other devices that did not explode....
Who was the Guy that was first arrested set for arrangement..and then let go, and now is set to be deported on Tuesday, Why did federal marshals whisk him away. and we here nothing else about it. If he was here going to school, and did nothing wrong.....why deport him.....who is he.......what is going on.
I also can not believe how easy it was for the Feds to Lock-down, or in-act marshal law in a city that size, so fast......so easily.... They did a great Job.....But i still have questions.

Hello Mariaperalta, I can't believe they were able to get one and capture one in just a matter of days, this is what I admire about United States in handling terrorism. but to be honest, i don't think terrorism will stop haunting America. the more muslim americans there, the more people that are going to be persuaded to join the radicalist group. shame on them, they got to US legally but wasted it, while I got to US embassytwice but sill couldn't get through lolz

Ya , got job for them tracing them and finding them. It shows that a high surveillance society with cctv everywhere works for finding these crazy murderer. when they are human decided to murder other humans , the society have hunt them down. The public also must cooperate with the authorities to flush them out and not protect this terrorists. They are evil and have plan to murder , escape , hide and murder again with their huge self made arsenals.

Someone mentioned that it cost Boston a hundred million or so when it was shut down. Compared that to the safety of the residents and justice done for three victims of the bombings, I'd so it was worth the price.

people in Boston haven't encounter anything like this before that's why such action in effect of this people is for safety purposes of themselves and also the community. Good thing the police have taken their actions at once
