My Writing

I have written creatively since I was pretty small.
Originally, my writing was done on little books made from cut down and stapled together newsprint. In these little paper books I wrote about the adventures of two little stick figures an their friends who spoke in little speech balloons. ;)
As I grew older, I started writing stories with words on paper. In school, whenever the (usually) English teacher would give us an assignment to write a story, I would be going "Yessss!" while the rest of the class would moan.
I have had the priveledge of being published twice, once in a chapbook of random works of mine, and most recently in an ebook of my poetry.
These days, I write things from poetry to snippets to short stories.
I like to let the random thoughts in my mind out on paper, especially if it is fiction of some sort.

I have started the writing for the first time, in the social networking websites, where I discussed with friends and wrote the testimonials for them.
I started the blog on the internet, and made my account here in Mylot. I have wrote articles for the article writing websites, and it is a good start for me. I will continue this all. Good luck for your further writing.

No, right now I use my spare time on the two three websites only. I am hearing a lot about the bubblews, here and there. I think it must be a good website for the article writers.
I will try it if the need arises, but I am more concentrated on the few websites, which I want to concentrate on right now. Thanks, you can share more information about the good earning websites.

Are you able to get on the websites Bubblews or Gather.com? They are also good places to share your writing. I have been on Gather.com for several years, and I joined Bubblews just recently (maybe a month ago?).

I like to write also. Words fascinate me. I remember one of the workshop I attended. It is how to expand your subject through observation. We went to a fastfood center. My subject was the ice cream vendor. I spent the whole day observing him. I was surprise that I was able to write something about "the man who sell ice cream" to the full satisfaction of the entire group. Wonderful experience for me.

That sounds like an interesting experience. Also, that sounds like a good way to get information about a character for a story. :)
What sorts of things do you write? Stories, or blogs, or...?
Have you shared any of your work on MyLot?

Hi Stitcher, good to hear that you like writing. I can only count in my hands the people who are passionate about writing. I have started to love it when I had my very first blog. I had my blog spot account before but after a year I transferred to Wordpress. Writing helps me to express my thoughts and feelings particularly If I am feeling lonely or depressed. It would be awesome if you will be able to share your wonderful stories here in Mylot.

Hello, gracie04, glad that you stopped by. :) I know what you mean about writing helping to express your thoughts and feelings--it is very theraputic. :)
I hope to be able to share some things on here in the near future, if MyLot will allow me.

Hi xstitcher,
Good for you. Perhaps you could include some of your creative writing here for myLotters to view and comment. I'm pretty sure that there are a couple of people here who dig creative writing as well. But I hope the piece/s of creative writing will not be too long as some may not have the patience to read till the end. Anyway, try it out and see if you get any response. Have a creative day.

Thank you, succeednow, but I have been discouraged from posting creative writing on here, as I have been told that it is "just a discussion site".

When I do any writing and I have ideas, I post in on Bubblews that site pay really nice, and I like to write out all my thoughts, and feeling on that site and Bubblews don't care what you write as long, as it with in the guide lines, so that is why I am gong to spend a lot of time there, before it's time for me to take my vacation this summer, that way I will have lots of money.
