Hey Anime lovers, especially Naruto ;) I got something super cool here.
Can you really believe this? This thing originates from ancient Sanskrit which was the main language language in India years ago.
Chakra is REAL!!
See the below link:

That's pretty cool now. I hope one day we all will be able to control this Chakra in our real life and do stuffs that happens only in Anime!
Happy Anim'in'g

Hello naruto addict, lol.
Yes, it's a word used in india. something to do with flow of energy. I think it's involved in yoga too? But I am not sure. It's a bit of unsettling that most people first knew about this through naruto.

yes it comes in Yoga too. I knew this before naruto but did not know the name. It has something to do with auras. And it's a very deep topic my friend.

Naruto has a more supernatural approach to chakra though. It would have been cool if our chakra in real life could be applied the ninja way.

Yeah..that's why it is more interesting. I have read somewhere that producing a ball of chakra in our palms would require 100 years of meditation.

wow! i never thought shakra really exists! Amazing!
It will be very cool if we manage to use this but maybe some may use this for their selfish desires. What do you think?

*chakra :)
yeah that might happen too.. People might get even stronger using various jutsus and even bullets will be a waste if someone with Itachi level comes with a Susano'o.

@nitinnair89 Yeah, but whereas in Avatar The Last Airbender chakra is utilized as it is practiced in Hinduism, Chakra in Naruto is more like "chi," with a single chakra pool.
The Japanese also have their own understanding of Buddhism/Hinduism which some elements in Naruto are derived from. For example The Sage Of Six paths is arguably revived from the Japanese Buddhist "Six paths Of Reincarnation." i.e. six stages of life one experiences upon being reincarnated Naraka,(i.e. a living Hell where one experiences torture and aggression throughout their life) Preta-Gati,(where one suffers a life of poverty and famine for lack of a better term) the path of animals(where one spends a live of stupidity and servitude much like that of an animal), Asura(if you know what an "Asura" is in Hinduism this is self-exclamatory as it's one of wrath, and destruction) Human(the live a mortl free to live as you wish) and finally Deva(Deava meaning "Heavenly Deity," this is reached upon obtaining enlightenment upon following Buddhist practices.).
And while Masashi Kishimoto is alleged to have gotten the "ninja hand signs and ninjutsu" from playing Japanese Role playing games, the ninja hand signs that inspired him are arguably derived from Kuji-in i.e. the nine syllables uttered when channeling "mantra" which is another form of spiritual energy like chakra and chi. These syllables are accompanied by hand signs:" Rin, Pyo, To, Sha, Kai, Jin, Retsu, Zai, and Zen." I suggest looking up these hand signs, you might be surprised as how similr they are to the ones used in Naruto.

Yes, I've heard of chakras way before I've heard of Naruto. In Hindu I believe that chakras are centers in your body where the vital energy gathers, life energy called "Prana". In Chinese culture it's equivalent is chi (ki), a life energy around which traditional medicine like Acupuncture and some martial arts like Tai Chi Chuan and Shaolin Kung Fu are centered.
You can see it used very often in fiction that involves martial arts but in way exaggerated form. For example Dragon Ball uses Ki. Creator of Naruto obviously wanted to be somewhat original so he went with a less popular term chakra but he used it wrong. Because chakras are points in a body in which prana energy gathers. So when character gathers energy to use some technique, yes he fills his chakra but the energy he uses is prana but anime doesn't distinguish the two. When somebody says that "chakra" is leaking out of character's body, which happened many time in the anime, it's nonsense.

Very correct. But i guess that they meant energy by using the term chakra and not prana. But the chakra flow concept used is correct. It happens. Although we cannot bring chakra out of our body as shown in naruto.

Hello my friend, well, i will not wonder if the word chakra really do exist on our reality. I think every word or names that is used in an anime is really researched well. I think anime makers or especially movie does boy just invent a word name or a power name out of nothing. To make the animation or a movie you should research well the things or the elements that you are going to use on your animation or movie. Anyways, i did figure out long before that this things do exist in reality, i just hope same as you that thos really do exist and can be used, not just a mere legend of some aicient tribes that exist on our world. If you think of it this word chakra will not be coined if it does not really exist right? Hehe. Well one of the mysteries of life. Have a nice day my friend! Thanks for sharing.
