I was walking home from the store the other day and as I was walking home I saw this girl walking this really cute dog, so I said O my god! The dog is so pretty! It was a small dog and it looked like a German Shepard my dream dog! I had one when I was young but my parents ended up letting the police have her and she became a police dog. I MISS HER SO SO BAD!! But anyway I asked her if the dog was a Grerman Shepard and she said yeah part that and part something else but as I was talking to her she began to cry and askedme if I had a phone she could use I asked her are you okay? She said no so I let her use my phone and she had calle dher Mother to come get her, and crying I said are you okay? Do you want me to stay with you until your mom gets here? She said well as she was still crying I said I watch a lot of crime t.v. and I was worried for her so I told her I would stay with her til her MOther got there and she had told me that her and her boyfiend had got in a fight and he tried to choke her so she hit him in the face, She was young and mind you I was thinking of My Daughter here and she was wearing a shirt that showed her belly and sweat pants, I was worried for her and it was so hot outside wating but we just started talking until her Mother came to get her. Did I do the right thing? I didn't want to leave her alone, What would you have done?

Yes you did the right thing by giving her company atleast till her mother's arrival. As she needed it much. Young kids do such mistake. But we should help them listening to them.
Happy mylotting.

hi Yes I really think you did as she was young and sounded like she was very frightened. I believe I would have done the same thing as it did not seem to me safe for her to be alone while she was so upset .Too if You had left her,. her angry boy friend might have found her and who knows what could have happened. So no I think yu di the right thing indeed.

Well since the girl was crying, I would of stayed with her too. I feel that was the right thing to do for sure. I am not sure why you would even question if it was the right thing to do or not. Of course it was.

I understand what you mean. If that were me and I left, I would of been wondering about it for days so just another good reason why it was the right ting to do. For sure. You're a good person and that thinks quick on your feet.

i think that you made the right choice.
you were concerned about this little girl who had already went thro a very tough time. it think i would have done the same thing also. this way you knew she was safe and you will not have to wonder waht happened to this little girl. also it sounds like she needed a friend or someone to just be there and listen to her and you are that person! i wish there were more concerned people in the world. i would hope that if my daughter was ever in the same situation that there would be someone like you willing to do that for her!

i agree with your mother. maybe there is a reason that you were there and you were the one to confront the little girl. and it is great that you were able to be there for her. i am sure she will never forget that as she grows older and i am sure that it meant a lot to that little girl that you did that.

Oh my goodness you sure did do the right thing and I would of done the same thing. How sad that she was so young to be going thru all of this. I am sure her mother was happy too you stayed with her, it was great you seem to be in the right place at the right time.

You definitely did the right thing. In today's world anything could happen to anyone anywhere at any given time. Especially a young girl crying in the street. Even though she had a dog with her it was very nice of you to stay till her mom got to her. I watch alot of crime shows too and many are based on real life stories. Something bad could have happened to her if she was left on the street to long alone waiting for her mom. You did a good deed for someone and that makes you a good person in my eyes.

Well I think there is nothing wrong with what you did. You are only trying to help her, but this happened to a friend of mine. He opened his door to a crying lady and since then his life has become a nightmare because her boyfriend who is from rehab and who is now a candidate for rehab again saw this thus and became suspicious. From then on, he would look for his girlfriend in his place!

I think you did the right thing. I, too, would have stayed with her until her mother arrived. She was upset and hurting and in need of assistance - I am so glad to hear that you did the right thing, it makes me so happy to know that there are indeed good people in the world.
In this day and age there are so many "bad" people out there, thank goodness you came along and helped =)

Hi,
It turned out alright in the end so you did the right thing. However, if it was a set-up to con you, it could be another matter. A lot of similar events led to more unfavorable results like being robbed or kidnapped arising from innocent encounters like you had. I would be very careful with things like that in the future.

Yes. You did the right thing. Especially when the girl needs someones help at that moment. If you left that girl at that time may be she had faced some more problems. But you given your phone to use her and helped her a lot by staying with her till her mother came. Good kind of you.

I believe you just did the right thing of staying with her. Although its sometimes scary since she might have been a con artist or something like that that you'll be the one in danger. I'm kinda curious though as to what did the mother said to you. Did she even thank you for staying with her daughter even if you're a total stranger?

I had the same feeling too if she was like that but I was not sure she was so young and her Mother just waved at me when she picked her up,and the girl just kept waving at me and I could tell she was saying thank you.

i see. i dont know with you, but for me that's kinda weird. if that happened to me, im sure my mom would hug you or say thank you personally. or any gesture that would make say that she is thankful big time to you. anyway, i guess people have different personality or mindset.

Well, if you want to know my point of view, I'd say you did the right thing in waiting with she the arrival of his mother.
This girl was in trouble, he had a fight with her boyfriend, and as a result, she was sick.
Small gestures to arrive at a more civilized world, they also start from these things!
You've been struck by the charm of her beautiful dog, but not initially suspected that this girl was in trouble until she began to cry.
You did the right thing!
