i would love to have a black cat

A black cat that walks infront of your path is supposed to be bad luck. We have a black cat and no bad luck here. My daughter would adopt them all if she could.

Hi there Lady1993! I don't really believe in bad luck and black is my favorite color. I like dogs better than cats though, but I do hope you'll be able to adopt a black cat and have your dream pet.

My first cat was black, I went looking to adopt a black cat, a female black cat. I currently have 2 black cats, down from 5 a few years ago, both of them are females, Nef and Elizabeth.

My neighbors threw their black cat out (along with their other cat's) and he started coming around when he got hungry.I feed him and he lives on my deck.He is a good friendly cat, I would love to bring him in but he doesn't get along with my other cat.

That is sad that no one will adopt black cats. I know my sister took all her cat's kittens to the no kill shelter. She kept a black one. He/she is all black. She was afraid no one would adopt that one. So, she kept it. I think if you want a black cat you should get a black cat. They are after all like you said animals in need of someone to care for them.

I had a black cat once, and I really loved him, he was gorgeous even though a bit naughty.. Sadly I had to give him away when I moved and pets weren't allowed at the new place. But I don't think they are bad luck, black is just a colour... why would someone refuse to adopt a cat just because it's black? It's a beautiful colour in my opinion, and the little dark panthers look so mysterious.

I have a black cat at home for pet many years, i would like to think only superstitious people will take such nonsense seriously- " black cat bring bad luck" ,she is the cutest cat i ever see, luck probably will have nothing to do with whatever happening to me, except through my own ignorance and stupidity, not the color of the animal i adopted as pet.
