Quentin Tarantino's new movie which was 2 hours and 4 minutes long. but it was a good movie that deserved to be finished indeed. About Django(Jamie Fox) a slave who was freed by a Dentist/Bounty Hunter to help him in his bounty hunting. After that they go to Candyland to rescue Django's wife. Simple story enough, but well executed.. nice soundtrack too. Lots of sharpshooting and fast shooting, and lots of shocking kills.

Sounds like a good movie ... if you like revisionist history AND violence.

@lady1993 Movies like this do not depict 'real' history and can give viewers the wrong impression. Another example of this is Irving Stone's "JFK" which says that Kennedy was assassinated by a conspiracy. While this has long been thought to be the case it has never been proven. Naive viewers will watch such films and assume they are based on fact.

@burrito88 well, yeah, conspiracy theories are just theories although some movies do make such convincing cases

i do not like violence really, but the world is a violent place, especially in the old times where slavery was still present

[Spoilers alert] I always get amused by Tarantino. There is a director in Bollywood called Subhas Ghai. The similarity between them is that both of them are ready to play cameo characters.I almost laughed when Tarantino bursts, due to the dynamites. Well the movie is OK. Samuel L Jackson in my view has done a very good job.

Hitchcock was famous for putting himself into the background of his movies.

I am a big fan of Quentin Tarantino .This movie too is great like all other movies he made. There were some shocking scenes of violence in the movie like the one in which a poor man is attacked by dogs and the climax where all the action happens. This movie explains to us about the mentality behind racism and that too in entertaining style with all the action. All the actors did a great job in this movie but i like Waltz and Leo the most.Best wishes.
