Even though I am older than most people on Facebook, I love it. The reason I got interested in Facebook is because when I was still teaching, I met a lot of young teachers and teacher's Aides. they invited me to join Facebook. Although I do not write anything about myself, I enjoy reading what my friends have to say on
Facebook. It really keeps me posted as to what they are doing. However, I have to admit, some of the stuff that people write on Facebook is rather ridiculous, I think. they tell you what they had for dinner, and a long with it, they show you a picture of their dinner. the new thing now is Instagram where they have funny remarks on the picture this is where you can write a comment. I love making my comments humorous. Although at one time I thought Facebook was ridiculous, I now find it like a hobby. My younger friends tell me what to do when I have problems.

Facebook can be such a good marketing tools too. Not only to keep in the touch with friends and family, but one can use it to get referral of the program that one has joined. It’s also such a good tool to sell something. Many online shops used facebook as the way to communicate to their consumers. And facebook page also can be created to support a cause to gain support from many people as well.

Gøod to know about your facebook experience. In this modern days lot of people getting addicted with facebook and spending most of their time with it. As you mentioned you have lot of young friends there and they are encouraging you that's great. I too have lot of elder friends in fb.

It's good to know that you are enjoying facebook happielady. When I was not yet working online, I also fond of playing farmville and yoville. But I don't make much comments on anything posted in there.
When I started working online, I find facebook as a good source of views for my articles. I also find some referrals from the site. So even how busy Imay be, I still ses to it to visit facebook from time to time.

I know what you mean, I have a cousin who is into fashion and uploads many pictures of her in new clothing combinations daily. She will often ask us to vote for her as well, if she is taking part in some contest. Since I am a guy with no interest in this I simply ignore all such posts.

Other than keeping in touch with friends and families. I love to use FB for receiving shopping news, as well as news related to current issues. FB has become a channel for marketing communications. As a consumer, especially for ladies who love shopping. We are happy if someone tells us when there is a sale or what item has great discounts.

Everything has its two sides,benefits and drawbacks,but at least we know our purposes.We can use FB to communicate with our friends and get involved in the lately news,which are useful.However,the drawbacks as you mentioned, some people seem to creazy with FB, who will show everthing in details, like scares, lunch, whatever they want. They just want everyone to pay attention about their lives,but who care. I always find there are some girls showing me their pictures about how fat they are,but the fact is they are so thin. How rediculous they are.
