Friends, its over. I am back, at last.

Hello friends, hope you all are keeping well. I have been away from Mylot for around 6 months now. Of course i have been responding to a couple of posts here and there just to keep my account running. So what was i up to? Some friends of mine, a couple in fact, had translated a book written in Marathi, a regional Indian language, into English. Having studied in the same medium they were rather apprehensive about the translation, so they asked me to proof-read it. I accepted and started the work. I had expected to finish it within 3 months but soon realized that it wasn't going to be easy. I found mistakes in grammar, structure of sentences and choice of words in virtually every sentence. So, i was forced to read the original text sentence by sentence and then make the correction in the English translation. The book consisted of 70 chapters. I took 5 chapters at a time, completed them and then emailed them to my friends who in turn emailed the corrected version to the author, who incidentally is also known to me. Since i could give just an hour to this work everyday it took me a lot of time. However i finally finished the last lot today and emailed it to my friends. So now i am free to mylot once again. All this work has been done by me free of charge. Along with the author and my friends, my name too will figure on the front cover as and when it is published. That is a consolation.I am happy to be back with you all and to continue the normal routine.
