I joined oDesk already. Wongchoiyee is right, the test is diddicult. That oDesk Readiness Test, I have taken that for many times and I haven't passed it yet.

Hi Lizziegee! Have you tried Skillpages.com? You can post your qualifications there and each time you have a compatible work opportunity, it would notify you and you can choose among them. Another similar venue is Odesk.com. If you are into verbal online jobs, you may try my company, Rarejob Philippines, Inc. Please tell you were referred by Tutor Joizee Javier. Good luck girl! ;)

Hi Joizee. I have accounts in both oDesk and Skillpages. I'm looking for other jobs that would fit my skills and could compensate reasonably because I can work full-time. Rarejob? Isn't that about online tutors and teachers? I wanted to have that job, but I don't think my internet speed could qualify. But if every they would hire me, I would be willing to upgrade my net speed and my headset and webcam.

Hello my friend,
do you know more than one language? Here's your chance:
1. Be a translator on GENGO.COM!
This website pays really well, now I earn at a rate of $0.08/word, lets assume I translate 800 words in an hour (which isn't impossible), I can earn $64/ hour! But the problem is that you must be expert in both source language and target language, because this site doesn't look at your resume/CV/work experience at all - it gives you a test to pass (no time limit, and you can use any reference), if you pass, you get the future jobs.
2. Find job in freelancer's sites!
I recommend eLance and PeoplePerHour because on these sites, there's no worry of getting cheated. Get your carefully designed CV uploaded to your "portfolio", have some attracting contents that make people hire you in your "description", give people your mature look via the profile picture to show that you're not a rookie, do whatever necessary to stand a chance in that cruelly competitive game - at first you fall, as experience comes in, more and more people will be looking for long-term employment with you, and of course, they pay great! The problem is that the process may take 1 or 2 years.
3. Invest in Zidisha!
If you have some greenbacks in PayPal, don't forget to do good deeds to other people! If you're not poor enough to starve, help those who do! Zidisha is a micro-finance company that some really poor people get loans from it, and you as a little philanthropist, may give your effort in fighting against poor and help build a better Earth. I currently put $200 into it, the interest isn't that great (around 3%~10%), but its impact is huge, and the gain is guaranteed (unlike HYIP programs).
May my answer help you. May God bless you.
