delinquent credit card holders can be sues and jail???

gUYS it is true that if u cant pay your credit card the bank can run after you and they can put you in jail all do they dont have any original docs. any respond with regards to this matter thank you...

actually i still never seen a person who have credit cards have been in sues and been jailed,because we used cards and not the money,actually i have a friend who didn't pay their debt,he tried to run but the bank knows where is his provincial address and they went their.but still they didn't found my friend.

I guess not, because some of my friends and relatives who are deliquent credit card holders are still living a normal life. i guess you just have to coordinate with the bank so that they can arrange it to waive the interest and other charges if you really can no longer pay for dues.

I don't really know about that. I thought credit card debt was unsecured debt. As unsecured debt there is nothing they can reposess. I have known a few people that had outstanding credit card debt that they honestly tried to keep up the payments but for whatever reason they had to default. I don't know of any of them that actually had to go to jail over it. It will of course ruin your credit rating and will stay on your credit report for I believe seven years. But, no, I've never heard of anyone going to jail for it. It may have happened, I just have never heard of it.
