Are we too dependent on technology?

Yes, think about living in a house with no electricity. We're too much depending on technology. It is a good thing because it makes life easier and make opportunities in so many ways like jobs, entertaining programs, etc. It is bad because it makes life somewhat complected and bad because it destroyed nature. But all the same I like to live with technology than without it.

I think so ,we are too depentent on technology. Take me as a example.I always want to study more in my spare time ,but when I'M free,computer and my phone takes much so much time.I just can't control it.That cause my pain on my neck .I need sport ,but technology always tempts me .I must change it.

Now a days as i am noticing it, i can YES, most people wants to be updated on new technology specially when it comes to gadget, because it offers convenience to us. But in some cases like people who live in remote areas or on the mountain areas, technology doesn't really matter to them, their main concern is their daily living and they live a very simple way of life compared to people who live in the city.

Hi hhawksworth: I think you are right to a point. It's truth that technologies are good for us but the more they make our lives more comfortable we become lazier and of course too dependent to them. Sometimes we have to go out and work out to feel alive and stay healthy. ALVARO

technology has completely taken over our lives as we know it. back when i was young if we wanted to know something we went to the library to figure it out. yes the internet has made things a lot easier but i do believe that people have became to dependent on it. most people are living for the next best thing that will come out...i do enjoy the things that i have and would be upset without it because i am use to having it all the time. almost everything is already computerized i think it is only a matter of time before everything is that way....times have changed i guess but sometimes i think it would be better to slow down and take a step back and stop trying to up the technology and just leave things the way that they are.

I think we should take the control between technology and us. We shouldn't allow it to be in control about us. A lot of people are high dependent on it, and that is not good. Technology is only a tools which allow us to get a more comfortable life, but an technology excess is not good for people, we are humans and we are not machines. I think we should think more and we should be more creative without technology too, and not overuse technology. Anything in excess is not good.
