My doctor told me I have a mild aortic insufficiency. I went throughy web trying to understand whst it is and what kind of lifestyle I should embrace. I what to hear from you mylotters. Your experiences are richer than those medical articles. How have you live with a leaking valve in the heart?

It depends on how severe the symptoms are and what you consider to be a 'normal' lifestyle. If the symptoms are (as you say) mild, then all that may be necessary is to have a regular echocardiogram to make sure that the situation is stable.
If your blood pressure is high, then treatment with certain blood pressure medications may help the condition from worsening. You may need to limit activity that requires more work from your heart. You should talk to your health care provider and take his/her advice.
As long as you avoid strenuous exercise, there is no reason why you shouldn't enjoy a 'normal' life. There is a list of simple tips here: http://www.webmd.com/heart-disease/tc/aortic-valve-regurgitation-living-with-aortic-regurgitation
