One thing that really fascinate me when I was still Taiwan is the lean body of the people there. Observing my friends and their eating habit, I could say that we are eating almost the same amount of food and carbohydrate. As a matter of fact, I eat less meat and fatty food than them but I could not get rid of those body fats on my hips and tummy. And then I noticed that they don't drink water after meal but they would drink tea after an hour and so. Would this be their secret in staying slim?
I am not a tea drinker but a cold milk tea with some jelly in it is really delicious. Or hot green tea with honey is also refreshing. Do you have some tips on how to enjoy a cup of tea?

Thanks for the sharing. Before I am coffee drinker. I do still drink coffee but tea after lunch is becoming a habit for me. I have heard a lot of health benefits coming from tea. I drink to that!

I don't have any tips as I'm not much of a tea drinker. However, when I do drink it I usually just drink it plain.
Happy mylotting!

I like to drink tea by adding to it a packet of Splenda and a couple teaspoons of fatfree milk.

I'm a big tea drinker and I love it. I try to have two cups aday. One in the morning and one in the evening. I love Pure GreenTea with lemon or the Ginseng Green Tea with lemon. I also drink black tea and with that I will either have it with the lemon or once in a while a teaspoon of organic sugar or honey. I have been a tea drinker for over thirty years and I only weigh 120lbs so maybe there is some truth to drinking tea and keeping thin. Come to think of it you don't see many chubby asian people do you?

I also like ginseng tea but a little bit expensive. Black tea is okay as long as it is oolong black tea. It is gentler to my tummy. I agree with you. I have been to Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Japan, and would hardly see chubby people: both young and old.

It's just like me. I like to drink tea without sugar at all after having meal. Maybe as a result I never get my body fat. Actually I want it, I try to eat much, drink milk and chocolate everyday, but my body still thin. I have 45 kg with 153 cm tall.

I think there is a big connection why they have slimmer body than the others.
I am also trying to lose some weight (though I lose a bit every day now).
I guess I need to start with this tea after meal and see the effect.
It is known that tea digest food and eliminates fats in our body- so that could be one reason why they stay fit after eating same amount of carbo and fatty foods.

To add, they claim that the oolong tea is the most health beneficial tea in the world. I don't know if the kind of tea is a major factor.

I usually take ice lemon tea which is refreshing in a hot day especially a sweaty day. Some like it thick and sweat , some like it hot and pity , it depends on your favourite. Some people take a teapot and refill with the hot water and the tea sachet is used which is convenient , some use tea powder with and a filter to maximise the favour. Some add milk and tea together which is nice is potent to wake your up without the bad effect of coffee.

i love tea so much,i love turkish tea ,its fresh and refreshing.
i also like english tea,but without so much milk.
i think here in turkey people always eat some snacks with tea,so it makes us fat.
tea also has many vitamins and minreals, even drinking so much tea is not good, drinking daily one or two cup can be good for our health.
peace

I love tea! I replaced coffee with tea and I think my health has improved a lot. I don't get agitated anymore. It's good for the body too since it increases metabolism. It's also good for the skin. I feel relaxed and soothed after I drink it. I like drinking it hot with a bit of milk in it. Oh, but I can't decide between green or yellow tea yet.
