Bali is the most famous island in Indonesia because of the beautiful scenery, cultures, traditional dance, painting, beach, mountain, handicraft, etc. Many food you can find here. The main course of people is rice. there are two climate, rainy and hot season.

I was in Jakarta and Jogjakarta last year. It wasn't a long vacation so I haven't been able to capture the real picture of Indonesia's culture and tradition. But the trip was enough for me to know that Indonesians are one of the friendliest batch of people that I have ever met. When I went there, I met some couchsurfers who made my stay worth while. I love the temples of Jogjakarta and their food... hehehe... I cannot wait to visit Indonesia again and maybe this time, I will stay longer.

I only have a handful of interests here and Indonesia is one of them. Obviously, it holds a special place in my heart. I have not only visited, but I have lived there for some years during which I spent some time to grasp what I can learn about Indonesia.

Yes, I know Indonesia but not that deep. I haven't had any classmates from there. But, I' m hoping to visit your country, one day. Can you be my tour guide? No, just kidding. I hope to meet cool people there and, of course, beautiful places as soon as I get there.

Thank you Marsh...Hopefully you will visit my country one day. Being your guide? Wow, with my pleasure, I will guide you. Moreover I stay not too far from Bali Island, only need 1 hour flight to go there. Don't forget to tell me before you come to Indonesia. I will also introduce my sons (the same age with you) and also my little daughter. Good luck, kid !

Honestly, I know nothing about your country. But I sure wish I could visit your country in the future. My brother in law was in Bali just a few days back. ANd according to him , your country is such a beautiful place. It was like a home away from him for him.

I really don't know much about Indonesia, they really don't cover that in history, and to my knowledge I don't know anyone from there, but then again I guess I do now since I read this and you are from there.

HI Bintang! I have been to Bali, Indonesia last November 2009 and I want to tell you that I FELL IN LOVE WITH YOUR BEACH! It has clear blue water. So wonderful to look at and swim in. And instead of sharp, hard rocks, you have flowy, soft seaweeds or sea plants. That was really really awesome. Though we have the same weather here in the Philippines, I like how cool it is in Bali during the night. However, with my three days, two nights stay in Bali's hotel, I wasn't really that happy to eat Indonesian cuisines. They served all curry dishes. All as in BREAKFAST, LUNCH and DINNER. I was really fed up by the curry taste that when I went back to my country I didn't eat any curry anymore. Up until now, if I may say. I was sad because I saw travelling shows showing Bali food as delicious as ever but when you tend to eat only one type of cooking, I guess the deliciousness would come to a tired tongue. Thanks bintang! :)
