Taking frequent breaks

I used to read for hours at a stretch until I got nearsighted and became more conscious of my eyesight. I used to spend long hours on homework, on gaming, on surfing the net, on anything that involves close work, without taking a break. I have learned, though, that in order to prevent nearsightedness or strain, one should take frequent breaks from whatever he is doing. I find my habit hard to change, though.
What about you? Do you make sure that you take frequent breaks, or do you continuous hours of work/play?

Yes u are just doing the right thing by taking breaks while working because if u work at a stretch it will not only affect your eyesight but also your body postures. in fact even i do the same and take breaks while i am working, this will give a freshness to your mind and body and then u can get back to work after a while.

It's nice that you take frequent breaks. You're right about the body posture too. I wish I could learn to have the habit of taking frequent breaks, because right now I'm still trying and I find it quite hard.
