Here, it's so hot that you can get sweaty by just sitting. It's been a while since it rained. I think Philippines is experiencing El NiƱa. Many people and animals had heat strokes.

Wow there is rain? Where are you located? I never experience that in my place. Only cloudy day in my area temperature is tolerable but still hot and dry. How I wish that rains would indeed come in my place so that at least we will have a cooler evenings.

The powers are really shut off as soon as heavy rains fall after a few hot days. This is to prevent the transformers from exploding due to the change of temperature.

It is snowing here. When I did day care I had some kids that didn't like the sound of hard rain or the thunder. I used to tell them different things like there was a bunch of squirrels running around on the roof or that it was popcorn popping. As for the thinder I told them it was someone bowling in the sky. Worked for some of them.

I think heavy rain in summer often accompany with thunder and tornado, you should be careful. It is a good idea you stay at home avoid to go to the outside. Have a nice day.

Yeah, it was the same here in the PM. I drove out with hubby to get some work done this PM. It was raining so heavily and I hardly see the road despite of switching on the head lights . So, I drove very slowly and fortunately it did not rain for long. It stopped just before we resah our destination !
