why less responses in these days? where is everybody?

i guess it is because people get to busy on other sites that pay more or their outside life take priority over being online. there are times that i am unable ti get on mylot or unable to reply to many posts...there is a few other things tho many people are starting dicussions lately instead of replying maybe...but the big one is...if you pay close attention there are always more people commenting on others posts closer the end of the month right before pay out. it seems everyone gets more active trying to reach the pay out amount before the end of the month. ive gotten more active lately again and i plan to stay that way i enjoy the people i meet and the things i learn here and being paid for it is jsut an extra bonus for me :)

I noticed that it was pretty quiet over the weekend. I think people are spending more time outside with the nice weather. I have seen that happen a lot on other sites. Hopefully it will pick up for you.

Some days I come on here and just don't feel into it. Some days I'm just too preoccupied by other stuff. Recently I'm battling a some annoying sort of illness. At least it's not worse than yesterday. I keep thinking I'm going to force myself to reply to as many discussions as possible, but myself is being rebellious.

Hello scubapro, I felt the same, but like our fellow mylotters I am busy too. Though I am tired and busy I still visit mylot and read interesting posts, respond a little off I go to sleep or do the important things that occupies me. Don't worry our friends here will be back soon.

Hello Well, this can happen. But believe me its not like we are having less active members now. I mean may be, but I for last discussion I got more than 50 responses. So it tells the story. Well, Its not same for all discussions, but sometime we found everybody online on the same day and sometimes its is like curfew.

I noticed that also, I am too busy the whole day so I didn't get a chance to go online, just these evening I got online. Maybe some of myLotters are busy or just having their summer vacation.

I think many people are busy with their real world commitments. I myself am not too active here anymore like I used too. I guess it is the laziness bugs biting on me.

hi scubapro I have not had any problem getting responses to my discussions but again I have been here a long time.I think a lot of discussions fail to get responses because a lot of newcomers here fail to read the guidelines and the FAQ's too.So we see a lot of rule breaking discussions and knowing that we will not be paid if we respond to these rule breaking ones we do not respond. we all want to earn as much as we can and responding to rule breaking discussions makes us lose money.so the newer ones really should read the guidelines so they know the rules then make discussions that do not break the do nots listed in the guidelines.

I have noticed this also. I'm a lot busier than what I used to be when I first joined the site. I try to comment but just don't have the time. I'm not trying to be rude, I just have other obligations that are well more important and need to be done. I try to find time to be on here but don't always find the time. There are actually times when I really shouldn't be on here, but am anyways.

Hi scuba, to be honest with you I have only been here going on 2 years and I just come here read post that I want to read re= sond to those I want to respond to and thats it...I have never counted any responses neither mine or anyone elses...I just come respond and just don'r worry about who, what, when and why,,,I've become fond of few people here as far as posting and responding.. as well as some of familiar people...maybe I am nissing something by not counting anything. but I am alright with my schedule here.. for that is something which is beyond my control so I don't get involved with stuff like that....

I also have been absent form mylot for the last 3 weeks I think. I have been very busy at work. I even do not have time for an afternoon break. My snacktime colleagues even joked at me that they will already expel me from the group. But I have no choice, because my presence is really needed for the close monitoring of our import permits. The sad thing is, it's not part of my job responsibilities. There is this new affiliate of our company which still has no stable personnel. So I was "requested" (yes, it started with a request to assist them, but it seemed like it's already becoming part of my job now) to facilitate their importations. But maybe for some, they are having vacation. It's summer time here in the Philippines. I just hope the reason is not because some are already leaving mylot...

Maybe people's life getting better and people don't need the money earned here in mylot.

these days I am also busy and I could not comment. I try to spend more time , I also love mylot because it is too friendly and I love mylot for sharing and that is the way we can learn so many things and that is the way we increase our knowledge day by day. that is why I love mylot and I am happy to be here.

It is kind of deflating. I used to get a lot more responses and now on average I get 11 or 12, and that can be in the span of two weeks. I still respond to my friend's discussions first, and I'm behind in my notifications, but I always get to them. And of course I take a look at the people's discussions in the mylot digest - like yours today.

I don't think there are really less responses lately. I think it is similar like before. However, usually in the past my new discussion would have the response in a short time. Now sometimes I am even afraid whether nobody wants to respond to my new discussions and they will even have no responses at all.

I think that it has been a bit slow over the past few days too. I expect it to be slow at weekends but not during the weekdays. whgere are you mylotters?

It really depends on the content and quality of any discussion as to whether it will get a lot of responses or not. Also, if it isn't all that interesting, then it won't get all that many, if any at all. i think with summer coming on us, people are busy doing things that would take their time away from mylot. As far as discxussions are concerned, i have had some that don't have all that many responses either, and I thought I had made them interesting enough, but if users aren't interested in the topic or the content of the discussion, then they certainly aren't going to respond. I figure that when that happens, i would always get another time to do it better and try to get more responses. Take care, and have fun in mylot.

I have been busy on my other earning web sites, to I haven't had the time to come here that much, when I do come here to Mylot, I comment on only 10 discussions, then I have to leave, and go to my other earning web sites, because one of them I am about to make payout, and I want to be there much as possible, to see when I will be making payout, one of my earning web sites, I have made payout already, I just have to wait until next month, for the earning to go, into my pal account.
