It is snowing! Love it! I just love the way that the weather can change so fast here. We don't get that much snow where I live so I always welcome it. Now if you want to talk about tornado's... When I lived in northwest Colorado I saw snow every month of the year. Tell me about your weather today.

I am jealous, I enjoy cold weather as opposed to hot and am dreading the upcoming summer. It is simple to warm up when it is chilly outside but nearly impossible to cool down when the weather is humid, hot and unforgiving.
The weather here is near perfect, minus the light coating of a nice spring snowfall, nice and crisp, have to wear a scarf, hat and jacket to stay warm but it sure does beat sweating like an idiot and watching all the buffoons frolic about in little to no clothing.
Summer is by far my least favourite month of the year. May the chills of winter haunt spring for as long as possible.

I've never been much of a fan of snow. It's wet and cold however, if it were one or the other, I might like it but since it's both, it's too much for me. Having Lupus makes it all the more harder for me to enjoy snow because I'd have to have all my clothes sunscreened to keep out the glare that snow gives off and even then, my body can't handle the cold. So I stay in NC unless we decide to move further south but I doubt that'll happen anytime soon.
Here in NC it's been a little chilly as of late, in the 60's. It was in the high 80's and night time was in the 60's but a cold front came through and now the day time is in the 60's. It'll be warming up pretty soon and then I can enjoy it as long as I'm not in the sun.

You are doing what is right for your body. It is best to be warm and safe then to chance going out into the cold and snow. Some day I am sure that I will get tired of it myself. When that happens I will probably think about Nevada. I love the country there.

Very true. I can't be in the sun and can't be near water with the sun shining on it because it bounces off the water and onto me and causes me to break out with these raised lesions. So I can't take the heat very well and can't take the cold very well. Kind of like, jeeze, what can I do?! lol Hubby and I have thought of moving to Arizona but it's too hot and there's not any tall trees there so that's out and then considered maybe northern Nevada but not sure of that either. I need shade and lots of it and dry warm weather would be nice just not too dry for I love tall trees.
Sheesh, is there a happy medium in where to live? I don't think so but maybe.... ?

Your condition would probably be best suited in the Pacific Northwest, as it has lots of tall trees, beautiful scenery, low humidity, lots of rain and usually grey skies. It rarely snows and it is rarely very sunny.
I hope this helps. I lived out there for a while and it truly is beautiful if you like gloomy, grey skies and lots of rain with no extreme temperatures.

wow! i love snow, but we do not have that kind of weather in our country. philippines is a tropical country with four types of weather: sunny, rainy, windy and i forget the other one -haha! and now our temperature is excruciatingly hot. gosh, you cannot bear to stay outside because of the extreme hotness or else, you might have sunburns, or headaches. very hot! and what is you cannot understand is that, there is also drizzling happens in a day even the sun is shining extremely. the weather here is playing us. our bad, this the prize we got for abusing the mother nature and citizens must do something about it or else we will suffer from the consequences we have done.

I do love Colorado. I have been there when it was snowing, and while it snows in Oklahoma, it's nothing compared to how it usually snows in Colorado. I believe they had snow this past week. That's pretty cool considering it is almost May. It's supposed to be 80 degrees here tomorrow, but next week it will once again get down to the 30s in the morning time.

Your weather sounds like ours. I used to live in Iowa and Kansas so I pretty well know what yours is really like. I remember coming back from North Carolina and as I drove through Oklahoma I saw tornadoes all around me. I am used to them so it wasn't a shock. My neighbor said we are to get snow again Wednesday.

I live in Georgia. It was in the 80's here today, and there was barely a cloud in the sky. I went fishing this afternoon to enjoy the weather.

I am going camping with some friends in a couple of weeks. I am really looking forward to it. It has been way too long since I had the chance to go camping for the weekend. I hope to get in some hiking and maybe some canoeing as well.

Ok, this is California. We don't do snow. Snow is something you go and visit, you throw around a few times, and then you leave. lol
Actually, today was mid-80's, slight breeze, clear. Going to be too hot soon. I don't do hot or cold really well. I prefer 70's to 80's...

We had some thunder storms on Friday and that washed all of the pollen away and the temps dropped a bit. Saturday was a beautiful day. It was not too hot and the pollen was not thick and if my household had not been filled with drama we probably would have gotten alot done. Crazy that you are having snow in April!

It is a shame things happened for you on the weekend. I have seen snow every month of the year here, well where I used to live in Colorado. When I first moved to Colorado we got about 6 inches in June. Pretty neat beings I came out here from Kansas.

The past days was with a real hot weather. However, we had a thunderstorm this PM. I was driving to some where this PM, and half way through my journey it rained so heavily until I had difficulty seeing the road. I drove so slowly due to the heavy rain. However, I am glad that the rain stopped before I arrived at the destination . I am so glad, I am having a cooling environment tonight and will be able to sleep well

Storms like that can be a pain but also a relief. I am glad that it helped cool things down and that you made it to your destination safely. I don't care for real hot weather and it can get hot here. Have a great day.

Hi Velvet! I envy your snowy weather today because it's scorching hot in the Philippines right now! We tend to use the a/c almost the whole day (oh hello there electric bill, how high to see you!). Not to exaggerate but you can almost fry an egg on the streets. So I am green as Hulk at where you are right now. I would wish there a snowy month in the Philippines, even just a month, even just for a week. Oh not for a day that would be frustrating to the highest level! LOL! But I wish, I wish, I wish! :( Thanks for sharing Velvet :)
