I should be ashamed of myself but I'm not. I am still too busy laughing to be. Yesterday I boiled the rest of the eggs so I could make some egg salad. My son got up this morning and I wasn't paying any attention. He asked me why the eggs wouldn't crack open. I started laughing cause I forgot to write on the box, HARD, like I normally do. Oops:)

After I thought about it I don't feel guilty anymore. I did at the time cause he wanted eggs with runny yolks. I had to go to the store so I bought more and marked uncooked on the box. He was happy though as this morning I made white gravy and cut the eggs up and put them in the gravy. He likes that too. I know I need to be on my guard cause I am sure he will do something to get back at me in fun.

I usually leave the hard boiled eggs out and the raw egg inside the fridge.

LOL Poor fella. In his grogginess he must have thought he was really doing something wrong. I never eat eggs. I had a bad experience when I was a little girl with eggs that made me sick. I have not liked them ever since but everyone else in the house does. I could see that happening around here too.

I have never had a problem with a bad egg, well not the oval type. I can see why you don't eat them.
It was so funny. I am watching cause I know that he will get back at me. He can be fun to be around :) Well, not all the time though. O am going to share more funny stories like this.

Some may just be thinking the eggs in the box were aroused!
Sorry for my bad humour.

A friend of mine did this on his last work day as night shift supervisor at a grocery store. He was being mistreated by the general manager and had found a better job at a rival company.
He took about 200 cartons of eggs and hard boiled every single egg over the course of the 9 hour shift in the kitchen and put them all back on the shelves. The next day I am sure there was a lot of complaints and general pandemonium.

I am sure it was beyond humourous. The funniest part would have been after the initial complaint and the management and a few of the dairy personnel opening the eggs and inspecting them, sighing, and dumping them out in the backroom.

Well, I guess this just means that you might have to explain to him you forgot to write on the carton that these were boiled. Actually there are times I do this just for something different as well.

I'm glad that I made you laugh. I see that I put two s's on eggs. Golly, guess I need to go back to school. I might just have to start writing stories like that more often. Of course, they would all be true stories. I have quite a few in my memory bank. Have a great day.

Write on the box "hard". Note to self. Never thought of that. But then usually when I boil eggs, I eat them right away too.
bad mom. lol

Lol, it is funny when things happen like this sometimes. Nothing to be ashamed of, we all make mistakes velvet! =)
It would have been worse if you wrote hard on the egg container and they weren't the boiled ones! There would probably be a mess all over the place if someone was expecting them to be boiled. Lol.
