Dirty Politics

This only shows how hopeless it is for us to have a clean election and to have such honest to goodness candidates. If one candidate has only pure intentions of serving the people and in making a very just system, he would not think of doing such things. Those who has got themselves involved with these election-related incidents only means one thing---they really do not deserve to be on any post and that their only way to gain it is by taking other people's lives.

Attaining mature democracy is such a struggle in many countries. Take my country for example, we have had demos, politically linked killings, corruption and all sorts of evil related to elections. The worst thing is, people's struggle for change is always hampered by an elite few who seems to own the whole nation.

I agree it only shows what kind of leaders we have and what kind of community we have. It reflects through these soon wanna be leaders. Unfortunately hardly we can see who are truly worthy for our votes.
