What musicians do you respect?

People that you respect range from a wide array of characters. A musician is just one aspect of the multitudes of professions one may hold whom you have respect for.
Elliott Smith is a musician I respect and learned a lot from.

Yes u are absolutely right, i respect all the musicians for the way they use their talent and entertain us which is not an easy job. In fact there r many Indian musicians that i respect a lot for their contribution to the music industry.

Thanks for responding. I don't know much about Indian musicians but I do enjoy Ravi Shankar and his work with George Harrison as well as his solo work. His daughter Norah Jones also makes some good music.
