Writing About Food Was Fun

Writing about food was more fun than I originally thought. Using food-related words in an application essay reminded of the time I composed a love letter just using programming terms. My client was quite happy with the essay even though I was short some 250 words. But according to him (or her), it exceeded his/her expectations. Well, this is one instance when I'm amazed with myself as to how I can be dexterous with words even though I am somewhat clueless with culinary arts. Anyway, I'm hoping this intimacy with words will spill over to my blogs. P.S. Right now, I'm writing about George Orwell's novel 1984 and North Korea. I don't know how this will turn out, but I'm hoping a repeat performance of the good kind.

A true writer can make anything seem fun. Sometimes the most obscure accompaniments match up perfectly in a linguistic mess that rains down happiness upon the readers eyes. There is no such thing as boredom in the true essence of imagination, so I am sure you felt that your food related writing brought about the smells, sights, sounds, tastes and general environment which surrounds a nice meal. The new piece you are working on sounds very promising. The similarities between the novel 1984 and North Korea are very prevalent. You are dealing with totalitarian states, unrest, poverty, control, censorship, suffering and a doomed course in both subjects.
