I had a friend recommend a Coconut Oil, specifically LouAnn Coconut Oil, for my dogs dry skin. He is a cocker. He had been bitting & scratching around his back legs. Plus, I noticed white dandruff flakes on his back. I had tried multiple kinds of oatmeal shampoos, fish oil, & various medicated products. Nothing was working....until the Coconut Oil. I put a very small amount of my fingers & did my best to rub it in to his skin instead of on top of his fur. Almost instantly I noticed a difference. Within a few days...WAY better.
So, I just wanted to share this tip with you all in case you're in need. There are various kinds of coconut oil and as I stated the one i tried was LouAnn. It was very cheap and purchased at Wal-Mart.

Yes i tried it too on my dog and it really works.
Coconut Oil is also good for humans for example if you put a very small amount of it into your mouth, let it melt and swish it around for a while your teeth will get a whiter color and at the same time your body detoxifies.
