I recently watched the "The Matrix Trilogy". The first movie came out when I was 9 and
the last one when I was 14. As I watched the movie there were familiar scenes like the
amazing moves which became pretty popular that time (maybe the reason I found them familiar). But I admit that I never really learned the true story until I watched them this time.
And I was actually very much pleased that I decided to watch the trilogy last weekend.
As a programmer, I enjoyed the plot of the movie--the "world" is actually "The Matrix" which was programmed by the machines, and the real world is a messed up, machine-invaved wasteland.
I love how it provokes you to think and ask profound questions but at the same time,
engaging programming concepts like backdoor, virus, etc.
I am just really glad I was able to watch The Matrix Trilogy. It made me my profession look cool. It shows how this profession can shape the world.
I recommend this to people who have (but missed the whole story) and haven't watched this movie.
