Thanks for sharing, what is the temperature there now, here today it is 39 C bit cool, last night it rained; you know my age and Kalyan's age, the skin has lost elasticity and luster, wrinkles are coming up, more so the nerves at skin end effected, we both use homeopathic cream , it has Aloevera and Calendula, 100grms 85.00 rupees.
While going to bed you apply Sandalwood paste mixed with turmeric--haldi, add few drops of rose water.

SurekhA:
Exposure to direct sun -- minimise to an extent possible. Always keep water bottle with you when you go out and drink water frequently. Minimum 1 litre + water we must drink during this hot season. also drink tender coconut water if possible.
Avoid too much sweating and take head bath twice a day.
good day.

@surekharathi -- surekha -- Water taken alone is good. many of us are tempted to take it in the form of juices - watermelon juice, lemon juice etc. this will prevent dehydration of our body. true watermelon also tastes good and if one is not a diabetic he can take more.of it. good day.
surekha-- new format appears new--yes little not clear. how to start discussions in theis format.

Buy some moisturizing sun block. Preferably with SPF 50 and make sure that you re-apply as necessary especially if you are out and sweating. It depends on your skin type and which brand you prefer that will not trigger any allergic reaction from you.

Hello there surekharathi,
I put on facial moisturizer after I wash my face at night.I apply it during the night so that my skin or face can absorb it well.If at daytime and I want to go outside I apply sun block with moisturizer too so that you can be protected by the heat of the sun and against dryness. But since it's summer in your place and you said you feel that your face is dry ., try changing your facial wash I think to something with moisturizer on it that way even if you don't apply or you forgot to apply moisturizer on your face it will still be hydrated.

In this hot and sunny weather, protection is important. During the day, I use a moisturizer with SPF 25++ when I do not use make up. When I do use make up, the foundation has SPF as well. However, I still have dark spots on my face. Had it since I was young and more spots appeared as I get older. Quite depressing actually.
