Hey, myLotters! I need your help. I have sleep disorder. I usually get to sleep on 3-5 AM in the morning and then wake up by 11 or 12 AM. I learned that having sleep disorder can lead to an early death. I had insomnia before thus the cause of my sleeping pattern. Sometimes, my brain thinks too much that it becomes hard to fall asleep. How can I correct my sleeping pattern? I really want to sleep like a normal person.

Are those your regular sleep hours? Once you go to sleep, at 3-5AM, do you stay asleep all the way until 11AM/12PM? If you are sleeping consistently at those hours and you stay asleep for 7, 8 or even 9 hours... without waking... then you don't have insomnia. You just have an altered sleep schedule from what most consider "normal." I don't go to sleep before 3AM ever... but once I go to bed, I sleep until somewhere between 8:30 and 9:30 AM. It's not the same schedule that "most" people might sleep but it's because of my work. It's what I'm used to now.
