Thesis Statement is a Bottleneck

Finding a simple thesis statement that I can defend or argue is proving to be a bottleneck. I think I need to practice more on this or else I risk losing valuable time every time I write a research paper. I also need to let go on my pet thesis and just Google what's out there.
I keep forgetting to Google materials for my writing assignments. And if I do, I'm still missing the most important part like the main premise of the argument. Anyway, this is the first time I'm using Google to find myself a simple thesis statement to work with.
Anyway, it's the new me. I'll less independent-minded and use Google every time I do stuff. (Actually, I'm using the myLot searchbox. Google is just a simple way of saying search engine.)

Yup. I'm just enduring the process because it helps me practice my MLA and APA citation skills. Anyway, I just finish the paper. It was a rather stressful experience. But the first one is always the hardest. I should be able to breeze through writing assignments like this in the future.

I hate citations, really. But the academe has a stickler for them. Well, I can't be sure if your future projects will be a 'breeze' since each projects has their own thorn/s. Sometimes, you see it right away or it just 'touch' you while you are writing. Of course, citations and reliable data is given for academic papers. Other materials have their own. Just approach it with an open minds and be ready to maneuver them when you spot it.
