Can Goldfish and Molly Fish be good tank mates

So recently I purchased an 8 gallon fish tank, along with 2 goldfishes, and put a pair of white mollies, which i had earlier in a fish bowl. Plus I put a Rubbernose Pleco too..Is that a good combination for the tank..?Please help..Im new to the Aquarium world..

Molly fish is a peaceful fish, so I think they can get along together well. One thing to keep in mind though. If you mix gold fish with another fish, another fish seems like to eat the tail of goldfish...from my experience.

Can't help you much as I never had goldfish. I did one time have Mollies, Guppies, and Tetras in same tank. They got along well as I remember. Then I got some plant from a friend and that got snails started and I got rid of the whole mess.
Lesson learned never get stuff from friends. They may mean well but it does not always work out well.
