In the second part of the Germany v Spain semi-finals tie, Borussia Dortmund will play host to Real Madrid. The preparation for the German side was disrupted when news of Gotze transfer to Bayern Munich in the summer broke out. The youngster is touted as the biggest thing in German soccer and his imminent departure has rocked the side. Can Borussia Dortmund put aside their shock and stun Real Madrid like what Bayern Munich did to Barcelona?

Dortmund won handsomely with four goals by Lewandowski. What a win for the German team. Dortmund has done to Real Madrid what Munich could do to Barcelona. SO we are likely to see an all German UCL final but we just can not write off the chances of Real Madrid and Barcelona. The Spanish teams are just too powerful and they are certainly capable of scoring four goals at home to qualify to the final.

Welcome back, my friend :)
We can not simply say that Bundesliga is better than La Liga just because of two wins by two top German teams over the two top Spanish teams in a match. What about if the Spanish teams beat the German teams in the second leg?
I think both Bundesliga and La Liga are top leagues. They are more or less the same in quality. In fact, at the moment, I would say that the five leagues of England, Germany, Italy, Spain and France are quite close to each other.
I think the ECL semi-finals are just between the four teams involved. To use their performance on the field to represent the over all quality of their own league is unrealistic and quite misleading.

I believe Borussia Dortmund got a higher motivation after the big winning of their fellow German team - Bayern Muenchen.
It's surely exciting to watch this match. It's also exciting to see if Mourinho will be able to win another Champion League trophy, now with Real Madrid.
