Blog Your Story and Your Something Else

A story is the ideal topic for a blog, but blogging our own story may not be the best idea in the world. So, adding something to the mix may just be the solution. But it requires a bit of dexterity to blog this plus that and get something interesting.
Anyway, I'm moving towards that direction now. Hopefully, I'll get more readers that way. If I could just find the perfect opening, I'm good to go--something like Dicken's opening line in Tales of Two Cities: It was the best of times. It was the worst of times.

Yes u are absolutely right, blogging one's own story is never a good idea as it might not be appealing for the readers, as u have mentioned if something extra can be added to the existing blog then it would generate interest in the minds of the readers n they would be willing to give it a read.
