Just a quick power nap is what I need

I got up at 2 or 2:30 AM to pee. I usually can get to sleep within an hour but not today. So I stayed up-I was on myLot, reading my email, and playing games. Now it is 9:30 AM and I am tired! I'm taking a short break and catching a short power nap-I've got a lot to do and I'm exhausted!

Oh you do need a power nap! ASAP! That is way too early for me, except of course when there's a flight to catch, that's the only time that I can remain up during those hours.

I try to not take too long of a nap because then I'm not tired enough when it's bed time. Last night , my allergies were bothering me, so I got up to take a pill. And could not fall asleep until about 6:00 AM! I was so out, I didn't hear my boyfriend come in until he sat down on the bed. But around 1:30, I sat down to read-and fell asleep for about two hours! So I'm paying for it now.....I'm so NOT tired!

Providing that your things you have to get done allow for a power nap that seems to be the least stressful way to cope with sudden bouts of not sleeping. I hope you are enjoying the rest.

I definitely needed it! My allergies sometimes keep me up for hours at night-and that affects me the following day. But right now I'm being lazy.

hi there scorpiobabes, indeed having a power nap is great. that even you just have had your sleep for a couple of hours, you will really gain an energy to move and carry on. as for me here, there are times i can't sleep at night due to extreme heat that summer brings, so i am just taking my catnap on the next day to gain the lost sleeping hours.

I don't think it was very long either-probably less than an hour. Right now, it's hard to motivate myself to do anything.
