Met a Lot of Freelancers Tonight

It was a get-together for freelancers and I was surprised that so many attended. There was even a 70-year old man who's doing freelancing work. Anyway, it was very encouraging to know that the trend is showing an increasing number of freelancers and their earnings.
Well, hopefully, I can get started on the site as well. Since I have a lot of free time this summer, it would be nice to earn a lot of money this time around.

i had a feeling you were talking about elance. i had an invite, too, and assumed it would be somewhere far like makati. your discussion made me take a second look and turns out it was also here in qc! too late. 
so what types of online jobs was the 70 y.o. earning from? would you do the same? i bet he's enjoying his after-retirement career.

Yup. It's an Elance here in Cebu City. He didn't say and I didn't ask what the 70 year-old man was doing at Elance. It must be something lucrative because he was speaking in front after the presentation and was quite enthusiastic about it.

I also want to get acquainted with fellow freelancers. That's amazing. I'm happy for your experience. Hopefully I'll meet some in the future.
