Are the police in your country effective at solving crimes and protecting the community?. Do you respect the police?

The police where I live now in Mexico are great for taking you to what they call jail and stealing all your money are they effective yes at being a better crook then you or I

what is more funny is the new home i moved into a few days ago the security is the police now it makes me wonder how safe am i really as I have moved here I see them just open the pass though gate how do they know that that person in the car even belongs here

yeah..police units in Mexico have a reputation for corrupt and unethical practices..You may find it difficult to trust them.

yes i do respect police i find them hardworking and on their toes every now and then but due to some exceptions the name of police officers are spoilt..THIS is the case every where so why just blame the department.

ya of coz....90% they are very effective in solving crimes in our country :) i respect them. :)
