My Dog, Honey Bear

This is my dog, Honey Bear (though we mostly just call him Bear). He will be 11 years old in August. We got Honey Bear from a friend of my sister in law. She could not keep him because she was out of the house due to work, etc, and couldn't really take care of him. He came to live with us when he was 10 months old. Bear is a huge spoiled baby who goes for two walks a day (which is good for me, too) though the walks are getting shorter because Bear has hip problems. He probably gets more treats than he should, though many times when he is given a treat he sniffs at it and "thinks about it" a while before he eats it. Being a boy, (the last two dogs we had were girls) we have gotten to experience all of his "Alpha male" tendencies, like barking at everything that goes by the house, other dogs (particularly the male dog next door), large birds, and large vehicles. ;P He's my big baby, though. :)
