Tablet OS - Android vs Polaroid

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tablet, which has the Android OS system on it. I really like this setup. Maybe it's because that is the only system my tablets have ever had, and I've had 2 other Tablets - an Acer and an ASUS. They've been relatively easy to use, and there weren't really any hiccups to speak up. Although, when I'm playing Jurassic Park Builder, if it's been on too long, or I have to many other apps open, it makes it a pain to play it, but that's another story all together. My daughter has a tablet, which she received from my mother for Christmas. It's from Polaroid. I didn't even know that Polaroid made tablets until I went shopping with my parents on Black Friday last year. My daughter really enjoys playing her tablet. There are some games on there she plays, although when we try to connect it to our WiFi, it's screwy at best. The OS on that tablet is a pain in the butt also. I had a choice between the formats for downloading apps, and I chose the one through Amazon because I was somewhat familiar with it. After we downloaded that app, it was easy to download other stuff through it. However, once we closed the app, it was very difficult to search and download other apps. We would have to uninstall the Amazon App, reinstall it, then get whatever app we were looking for. It's a royal pain in the butt. I'm thinking if we bought another tablet for my daughter, or any of my other children, it would definitely be of at least Android format. At least that one, we're familiar with.

I am sorry but I think your daughter's Polaroid tablet should be running the Android OS. Which model is it? I know the Polaroid 7 is running on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). You may want to check again. As for the problems you are facing, I think it could be the connection problem to compatibility problem. You may want to check if both machines are having the same version as far as the game is concern. If there's no issue here. then you may want to check with the game's official website to see if they have similar issues in their forums/support pages.

I think that your next tablet should be a ipad with apple ios. I know you are not familier with it but it is the best buy you will ever make. It is simple has tons of games for your daughter to play, fast wifi and internet magazines ebooks music you name it. I invested in one and it is the best buy ever.

That is what is good about Android is it is very dynamic and can easily be adjusted to your needs. The only thing I hate about Android phones and tablet is that it easily drains battery and especially if you are a heavy internet user or a gamer.
