In our country there are no national identification. Thats why it is hard for some people to give a valid id if needed urgently. It can also lessen via victimns of fake person identity. It will help lessen crimes that need identification. What can you say about this?

If you think that is really needed, well come on pal, make the necessary things for it to be implemented. Do you need a program to use? How are you going to implement it? All these things if you can make into one good proposal, will certainly make you rich, do you know that? You have to sell this idea. Have a great day!

See this is why I love mylot I just learned something new today. I thought every country had a system of Identification for all of the people. I believed that everyone needed to carry a Idenification. Don't you need one for driving a car? That is our ID in the states and in Puerto Rico. I believe your country definitely needs to have a national identification for all the people.

Our country has system for identification. We also have drivers license, passport, student, postal, as identification. There are many things that can be used as identification here in our country. I just suggest that we need an national identification for a better security for us. :)

I think that is a good idea like what US has done only one number identifies you and that also serves as TIN, SSS and other Ids. I hope this will be implemented already but it will take a lot of time and effort since we are just too many to be served with this new ID system.

Yes it would take upto years. But that was a very good addition to our nation it can take two years but that will have a good effect on our country. That will help many people having problems with their identification.

I'm also in favor of a national ID. It would not only help deter crimes like identity theft and such, it could also facilitate transactions requiring valid IDs like opening bank accounts. It has baffled me why there are those who are afraid of such an ID. They even succeeded in shooting down the proposal to push through with a national ID.

that thing also irritate me when i open a bank account. Because school he expires after a year and my next school id is not yet released and they said that the last years id was not valid so i bring up my registration forms and some receipts. Thats really annoying.

Hello Gelomon, unfortunately despite of the national ID system, our local criminals will always have a way of creating a fake one. unless the government makes more and more security features better than the new bill to this one. another thing is that communist and leftist would never allow such a thing to let it pass. they claim they will be targetted by abduction and execution, but in truth they don't wanna be identified as communist. i am looking forward to this national identification thing

If it can replace all those other ID's, fine. But i think i will still apply for another ID. you'll never know when you need one anyway. beside,s they always ask for two samples. Even with a national ID system, we all need a national database. A database that consolidates all information about the person. I don't know if this is already in effect or how much it might 'invade' the privacy of others.

if there is national identification, they will not ask for another identification. Yes that is one of the risk but that can be fixed by good programmers right? And i think it will be secured. I hope so. :)

I think it is important to create national identification. I think it will give easiness for government to control their citizen, and the citizen also easy to detect their identity when they go to the other region or foreign country. I hope your government will create it immediately.

I agree 100%. Though SSS or driver's license etc are considered valid ID, but not all people could avail of these ID.

at what age can you avail voters i.d? 18. How long does it take for you to get the id? I think more than a year. If the national id will be issued, i think there is a way to verify if it is fake or real. We need to stay positive. :)
