Weirdos in the internet.

There are some weirdos in the internet, who randomly gave their emails to complete strangers just to make friends/ask for a date. I had this lady, who gave me her email in response to the drawing service I offer on one site. Thinking it was a job offer I responded through that email she gave me. But her reply has zero relevance to the service I offered. She type a paragraph about herself then ask me for my hobbies or tell her something about myself. She even included her photo in the email. I just delete her reply and don't bother anymore. Encounter any weirdos who do something like this?

you are right. there are many weirdos in the internet. because it is free and accessible, people can be anonymous in expressing themselves. many scams are also proliferating online. one has to be careful in dealing with them. information must be handled with care as people try to get as many information as possible to serve their interest.

re being anonymous. Some serious sources claim that noone is anonymous on the net as some gigantic data storage devices run by the governments keep track of every internet activity, including email.

I bet there are more weirdos than non-weirdos. Simply dump them if they annoy you. Most of them are spammers/ competitors or people who are just bored.

Hi friend, internet have been the second world for all people under the sun, so it is normal there are many weirdos over there. Thus, we should be careful before do something in internet. Yes, everyone can access this world. Have a nice day.
