Now that is interesting. I also wonder about the same thing you do. Now, if it was a guarantee that things would be different then I might go. I wouldn't mind visiting just to find out.

yes it would be fun but the real deal is the price to even get there i am sure it will be of high cost

That is true. I just don't think my broom would make it that far either. It is getting pretty old :) Have you noticed that I like to joke?

You would also live your life out on the spaceship taking you. It's a no brainer!

Actually, until we develop the ability to travel even CLOSE to the speed of light, it would take longer to reach even the nearest planet than the whole of the Christian era. The crew of such a ship would have gone through several hundred generations and would very likely be quite different from their original ancestors in their outlook and philosophy.

you are right that even from the days we had become human we have changed over the hundreds of years so our lives will always change no matter what we do

How about the simple fact that WE CAN'T GET THERE!

Not saying we will never get there, but unless we will find a revolutionary solution to travel faster I doubt that we can go so far any time soon, which I find unfortunate since there are so many things beyond our life.

well, I know that is something good to live in another planet.. that is so amazing but I hope that we do not destroy those planet also on our selfishness and greed... while God wanted to send human to the earth, angles said God this human are enemy of another human and will destroy and fight and make sins.. when God wanted to sent some prays and chants, they said to God oh you send us to this human who never observe full thanks to you, please do not send us between human... I hope that we do not destroy anywhere else in this universe with our mistakes and sins... just hope and wish.. for better life everywhere no matter on the earth or somewhere out of this planet

I guess if the place is conducive for man to live I would love to go there ! However, I may not survive the journey to see myself landed there in one piece

New planets and life beyond Earth has been mystery since ages. No man is still not sure of the same but,you fulfil your desires through some fantasy tales and comics. Scientists are trying hard to occupy Mars in the near future. If that happens then that would be the biggest achievement by human in the 21st century. Let's hope it comes sooner than later.

I think that as we are currently f*cking up this planet we don't deserve the right to explore others. Mother nature or rather father universe seems to have a self-protection mecanism against violent species leaving their own world and contaminating another: distance. We are allowed to watch but not touch

I think our own planet can still contain us. If that planet is 10 times better here then would it be nice to visit the other planets.

Not for me. I get carsick going from one block to another. I can't image the travel time, have you been on a plane lately. Gov. Can't get the airline stuff together, can't imagine they would do much better with space travel.

A question is: Why try to escape and not Protecting Our Mother Earth? Humans're strange. They get extremely excited about a glimpse of hope in the other planet, while our planet is filled with perfect-timing sunlight, intelligently-managed O2-CO2 cycle, damn lots of animals and plants, and they feel not even a little happiness and show no gratitude.

well as you know we the humans have not over the hundreds of years taken care of mother earth and we have done far to many things wrong to her what we need to do here is try to fix the things that we have done so badly before we move on to a new planet but the thought that one day we can move to a new planet will always be a trill

Well since these planets are all many light years away, with one being over 1000 light years away, it is impossible to ever get there. Even if humans could reach the speed of light which as of now is impossible, it would take 1000 years or more to get there. Humans are stuck on Earth and will die out with the planet in my opinion.
