Holy cow! I saw smoke billowing into the air from our neighbor's house.
I thought they were just grilling some meat in their garage.
But I become nosy so looked over the fence and saw my neighbor there trying to clear
their house from smoke that came from overheated fan. I guess because she was under panic mode that she forgot to take the fire extinguisher on the countertop
I found out that my neighbor just got home from work.
She thought someone was smoking a cigarette
but she wondered who it might be because her husband does not smoke at all.
When she came to the kitchen she found out that someone left the fan open and it apparently
has been running for hours.

Wow, I guess that means it really is so hot there now as summer has officially started. I hope she managed to salvage the fan, more importantly, I hope it didn't do any damage to their electrical wiring. We all know how how one jam in the electrical set up can crawl to the rest of the wirings.

Wow that is a scary situation. I hope that she gets the fire under control and that there is not too much damage. Did anyone call the fire department to get them out to the home?

So did you use your fire extinguisher? That can be scary and unnerving to find a potential for a fire in your home when you have been out all day. It certainly takes a long time to get the smell out as well.

Wow...good thing she just came on time or else it would be a worse scenario.
We should always check every appliance before leaving the house to avoid fire.
Whoa... fire is very common during this summer season and it's so scary.

I hope that there wasn't much damage on the house. It's really important to double check everything prior to leaving the house each time.

That's why my husband and i always unplug all the appliance in our bedroom , whenever we leave for work.
As to the rest of the house, we always remind the caregiver of my bedridden father-in-law to switch electric fans, meaning use the other fans so as to let the ones being used have its rest.
And we always remind him to check on all unused appliance , that they should be unplugged.
My in-laws are seniors and they are already forgetful. Someone has to check on these things while we are at work.
