With a Face Like That, She Needed a Middle Name

One of my cats, one of my many cats, came to me as a tiny kitten with this adorable, mischievous look on her little face. I thought, that's it, she needs a middle name. Why, you may ask?
Well, when you call somebody by their first and middle name, it usually means that they did something or are about to do something wrong.
Sure enough, just this morning, my silly little cat squirted out of her enclosed porch because she wanted to visit the great out doors.
So I called her back, Gidget Renee', you come back here. The little stinker. So I picker her up and put her back on the porch.
Do you give your pets middle names?

Well it's been very fitting for this little gem of a kitty. The cute thing is that she has a sister who also has a middle name - Bridget Alexandria.
They both were in need of a middle name because of their silliness.
Come to think of it, my whole brood needs middle names. I'd better get to work figuring this whole thing out.

Many cats have that "I'm about to get into trouble" look about them .
Though in my family, whether it be dog or cat, we end up giving them a middle name just for the purpose of correcting their (somewhat curious, usually bad) behavior.

I hear what you are saying. Come to think of it, I realized after I made my post, just about all of the cats have middle names. Hmmm, I wonder what's up with that.

I actually don't give middle names, but they all earn extra names. For example, Oliver, the kitten in my avatar, has earned a lot of names.
"Nose Cozy," because he lay down on my face and almost killed me. "Fluff Bucket," because he's a long haired cat. "Lard Butt," because he's fat.
Rygel, the other cat in my avatar also has a lot of other names.
"That White Eared Cat," well, look at his picture. "The Cat Who Will Eat Us In Our Sleep," because he took a nap with me and when he woke up he bit my thumb, I put him over by the food and he ran over and started eating. "The Smart Cat," because he's the one who figured out how to jump from the floor into our arms.
